Minister: Russia’s food exports fall 25% to $15 bln in 2015
MOSCOW, Feb 5 (PRIME) -- Russia’s food exports fell by 25% on the year to U.S. $15 billion in 2015, Agriculture Minister Alexander Tkachyov said Friday at a meeting of the United Russia ruling party.
“Exports of food products fell to $15 billion in 2015, while in 2014 it stood at $20 billion,” he said.
In October 2015, Tkachyov said Russia is able to raise food exports to $40–50 billion per year in five to seven years.
